WELCOME!

ATTENTION, PLEASE READ:

We are pleased to announce that IFL's employer stop loss and organ transplant MGU operations have been sold to Fairmont Specialty, a part of Crum & Forster. As you know Fairmont issues their coverage on United States Fire Insurance Company paper, a carrier rated A by AM Best. Rachel Miller will be joining the Fairmont team along with IFL's senior underwriting team, Erin Raasch and Sabrina York, on a permanent basis effective November 10.

We know you may have a number of questions regarding this change and how it affects you and your clients. We will attempt to address as many of them below as we can.

Will this change have any affect on the coverage we have in place?

No - assuming continued premium payment, your coverage will continue to its natural expiry.

Where do I send my claims now?

Claims will be handled directly by Fairmont. Claims may be submitted via hard copy to the following address: Fairmont Specialty, Attn: Claims Department, 5 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724. If you prefer you can submit your claims electronically to A&HClaims@Fairmontspecialty.com.

Who will be my point of contact for Claims related questions?

Fairmont has an experienced claims staff ready to respond to your inquiries and claims. Darren Casey, Assistant Vice President, leads the claim staff. He can be reached at 732.918.2889 or dcasey@fairmontspecialty.com. Darren reports to Sharon Mattingly, Vice President, Claims and Administration. Sharon's direct line is 732.918.2888. Her email address is smattingly@fairmontspecialty.com.

What happens with any claims that were submitted to IFL that are still pending?

Any open claims still pending on October 31 will be transferred to Fairmont's office for handling on November 3. All claim checks will be issued from Fairmont as of November 3. Please contact Darren for any questions you may have. As you know Fairmont has been the underwriting paper or reinsurer for IFL for over eight years and is very familiar with these claims.

Where do I send my premium?

Effective immediately premiums should be submitted directly to Fairmont. Fairmont's address for premium submissions is: US Fire Insurance Company, 305 Madison Ave., Morristown, NJ 07962  Attn: Barbara Ward, A&H Premium

If you prefer you can wire your payment to: JP Morgan Chase Bank, ABA#:021000021, Acc#: 323005578, Bnf: U.S Fire Insurance, General Act

Who is my point of contact on premium and billing related questions?

Ersale Benson. She can be reached at 732.918.6714. Her email address is ebenson@fairmontspecialty.com. Ersale reports to Sharon Mattingly.

What is the status of any pending quotes I may have submitted? Who do I contact about them?

Pending quotes will be handled by me and the entire direct stop loss team at Fairmont.  We will work to ensure no disruption in service, and if you are familiar with working with either Erin or Sabrina, expect to continue working with them.  Requests for new quotes should be directed to Fairmont's quote request mailbox at RFP@fairmontspecialty.com. Any quotes sent to IFL's quoting mailboxes will be redirected to Fairmont.

Rachel, Erin and Sabrina are excited to join Fairmont and look forward to continuing to provide you with the quality services that you and your clients deserve.

Rachel's first day at Fairmont will be Monday November 10. In the interim if you have any questions, please continue to contact her here at IFL. Effective on November 10th her contact information will be rmiller@fairmontspecialty.com. Rachel's new phone number will be 732.918.6712.
